David
(00:01):
So in this video, we're going to walk through how to create your business manager and your ad account. Now, if you've never created this before, it's actually quite easy to do. We're showing you what it looks like from an incognito window. Cause once you create a business manager, anytime you go to this URL, business.facebook.com, it automatically redirects your business manager. So if you've never created one before business.facebook.com, you'll see a login and a create account button at the very top, right? You need to click on the create account and it'll take you through the process of filling in all your information so that you can go ahead and create a business manager. Once you do that, your business manager essentially will look like this every time you log in, right? It's going to show you, uh, this home screen is going to show you accounts.
David (00:46):
It's going to show you pages, you manage. It's going to show you a variety of things and you know, activity will show you where you have things going on. But most of the time you want to click on business settings. And it's going to open up this window where essentially you could see, uh, who's associated within your business manager, under people. Partners is anyone that you attached to your account pages is where you add your fan page and add accounts is where you add your ad account. Now, most people are going to be creating a fan page for the first time. So what you have to do is click on the add button and then either create a page or add your page. You would add a page. If you already have a fan page and you would create a new page. If you need to create a new page, the same thing goes along with the ad account. This is what all you need to focus on. Click on, add and click on, create a new ad account.
David (01:36):
And then you would simply follow these details. You fill in the name of your ad account, select your time zone, your currency, your payment method, and you click next and it'll populate the accounts. So for example, uh, this is an account that I personally own. Uh, once you create it, you can you add yourself or whomever else you want to add to the account by clicking on, add people, you click on their name, you give them the permissions, and then you simply just click assign, uh, keep in mind. If you set up your business manager, you want to go down to business info and you want to fill in all the details of your business. Uh, the more detail you fill in the better, especially if you can put in your business name, your primary page and your business information, and then once you do that, you're all set and verified. And that is how you create an ad account and a business manager.
