Matt (00:00):
Okay, let's talk about product delivery for your silo funnel offers. Okay. Now this is, this is going to be twofold. One how you deliver your course and two, how you deliver your done for you, for your client. Okay. Super important that you consider both of these points. Now, when you're thinking about the actual product delivery. Okay. I don't like third party sites like you to me, I don't like someone else having control over what I do, what I charge when there's a discount, any of that crap. Okay. Yes, you do get the added benefit of having a marketplace, but at the same time, I wouldn't put your best content on there. If you want to use it as a lead gen strategy and put very short, specific courses on there to help establish yourself as an expert, by all means, but that's not the type of platform we want to use for this.
Matt (00:52):
Okay. We want to have total control over what we do. And so with that in mind, uh, we have several things to consider. Number one, we obviously have to be able to take payment, okay. Payment. We gotta, we gotta have a way to send people. This is terrible, um, to a page that they can actually check out. They can use PayPal, they can use their credit card. Okay. Number two, we need a secure members area. That means that it's for members only, and the content is secure. Okay. Secure content. That means only it's it's gated my payment. Okay. There's a payment gateway. Only people that have paid can man can access it. Number three, it's not just, you know, good enough to have a way for them to sign up and to access your members area. You need to help them consume your content. Remember we talked about this in the first or second, one of the first two videos is consumption.
Matt (01:53):
You want them to consume your product? Otherwise it doesn't do you or them any good. Okay. And so back in the day, I used to build membership areas with, um, the original optimized press one. And, you know, it was all built for that and is great. And, you know, I could stylize it and make it look nice, but it didn't help with engagement and it didn't help with, you know, actually getting them to consume it. So then I discovered an L M S K learning management system. Now I've used several WordPress plugins. I've tried all of it. I've sold online courses since 2011. And I have discovered every possible way S to member a wishlist, a WordPress, um, value add on and all kinds of other third party, uh, type of, uh, configurations, uh, but an LMS, a really good LMS system is really great.
Matt (02:48):
Cause it makes your course look that much more professional. As you've noticed, as you're going through this, I'm going to show you what I use. Okay. And then the fourth thing to consider is an affiliate program. You know, whether you think you're going to add an affiliate program or not, it's best to put yourself in that position, um, to be able to have affiliates promote your products, because it's going to be the, one of the easiest ways to get traffic and eyeballs and customers in your silo funnel or from the bottom up, uh, as a, as a webinar offer later on down the road. Okay. So these are the four things that we need to consider. I'm going to show you what I use and why. Okay. So this is the webinar architect course. It's obviously it looks exactly like the silo course that you're in now.
Matt (03:37):
Um, and, and you'll notice what's great about it is the way that it's laid out. And I built this in optimized press. So, you know, you, if you're using a, what I'm about to share with you, you'll still have to put it in, uh, into a WordPress and stylize it the way that you want with whatever page code is, but they give you all the shortcuts. Okay? So I like this sidebar and the content in a linear fashion, it's accessible on mobile and everything, but, you know, best viewed on desktop or laptop. So you have these objectives over here. And so it gives them a way to keep track of the course, the overall course. So all of these get a check Mark once they completed them and a key objectives for each particular lesson. So for this lesson, if I'm up, this video is completed, you'll see, it's checked off here.
Matt (04:25):
And it goes up to 33% cause I have three objectives. Uh, then Mark overview is right after I read that lesson, progress goes up to 67, that's checked off. And then also the key takeaways, Mark Key takeaways. Right? Okay. So now we've got a hundred percent progress on this and we went from 74% back these down 74% on the course, overall course, course progress to 78%. Okay. And then we just go to the next video, right? Okay. So this system makes it great. It's a really great learning experience. And your users, you specifically watching this video has the ability to key create notes. So the next time that you log in, you can come and find your notes right here, where you were watching the content or engaging with the content. So that's incredibly powerful feature. And it's one that you really have to consider this day and age with all of the options out there for people to consume content.
Matt (05:24):
Okay. So what I use is access ally and the reason why is it just check the boxes? I knew that I needed to consider all four of those things are the biggest things. Okay. We needed a way to, to allow them to check out, right. Well, here you go, sell digital products and take recurrent payments. So you have these checkout pages. Okay. And here's what mine looks like. Real simple, right? A real simple again, I built this in a optimized press and whatever page builder are using, you can use that as well. But it just, these are short codes, this whole middle section, all it is, is a short code that I put in here and embed this form. Okay. All the rest of this is what I've added. Okay. And so when you click next again, it's a two step checkout. So that automatically, when they put their email and phone number in, it goes on to an abandoned cart list.
Matt (06:12):
Now they complete their checkout and they come off the abandoned cart list. They won't get any bandit emails, but all that stuff's in there. Um, now they can check out, they can use PayPal or they can use a credit card. And so it's all right here. Um, that's important, super important to be able to send people to this page, to checkout. It's one of the pages you need for your salad funnel offer. Uh, now I'm back to excess ally. Um, it also allows you to manage your members. Okay. But it has this affiliate system. Okay. This is important. So now I can create, now that I have this product set up in a access ally in my WordPress application, I have an affiliate program already built in. It integrates perfectly with, with, uh, active campaign. As you can see, this is a screenshot from active campaign.
Matt (06:57):
It gives you step by step instructions on how to do that. And obviously, um, it, it payment Gates your content so that you can, uh, creep beautiful pages like this that are only accessible, uh, once you paid. Okay. And that's what LMS does for you or, um, uh, access alley. And it also has a beautiful LMS system, which you've already seen. I have not added any points or gamification, which you could. And again, that definitely helps increase the consumption, which is what you want. Okay. So that's the, the core side of it. This is what I use is what I recommend is a link to get access to LA with my link below and in the resources section. The other part of this is how do you deliver on your done for you? Okay. So the super simple way is create a, a Google doc and just create a checklist, have this already prepared what it is that you're going to deliver.
Matt (07:48):
And we take this exact same checklist when we send it to, um, our clients that want to sign up with us for the silo or for a webinar. We say, we put it in the, um, the PayPal invoice, because then we're clear, this is everything I said, I'm going to do, I copy and paste that exact same checklist. And I put it right here in a, in a Google doc that I then share with them. Then they can see my progress along the way. So all of it's in one central place, right? There's no going back and forth. There's no long email threads where you're trying to find all this crap. It's all right here. Okay. So every time I do something, I just click the box and then add a check Mark. Okay. Um, and so then they could see everything that I've done.
Matt (08:32):
Uh, and if I do any work outside of what already listed, and I put it here so that they know I over-delivered okay. And I fixed this guy's website and did a lot of stuff that I hadn't agreed to do, but I did anyways, because it needed to be done. Okay. Now he has all of his important links, all of his important details, all the color schemes that I use, all of the ads, all the sales copy, the email sequences for the leading up to the webinar and the replay, all of it in one place. Okay. This is the simplest easiest way to do it, that I found that it's free and everybody is familiar with it. So all you have to do is share this with your client, bada bing bada boom, done.
